Until next semester...
We'll miss each other, I'm sure of it. And yet, are these not the moments that bring us closer? Did anyone see the Sasuke vs. Itachi battle? Pretty epic.GZ Art Show
Don't forget about the art show this Friday, 8 pm. What could be quirkier? It's going to be postmodern as f*ck. Also, if you signed up for the little Secret Santa shindig, it shall take place directly afterward. So bring your giftz!Only one more show
This is it for shows this semester. Check out the events schedule for the rest of the year...pretty scarce. Hang out this weekend. There's an open mic on Friday, plus a really interesting show on Saturday, both at 8. After that, we have to be quiet. You won't be able to express your anger/melancholy with appropriate volume because it'll be quiet hours. Oh, and don't forget the art show. Make some art, ya artist you.Thanksgiving
You better have a nice break. You better relax and truly enjoy your precious free moments. Fight for freedom and friendship! We shall slay the demon king with the dragon sword of chaos in the melancholy of winter. I'll see you when we get back.art show
Hey there. In case you weren't aware...1) there's an open mic tonight at GZ at 8pm, so come; 2) there's a show at GZ on Saturday, also at 8pm...come; 3) we have an art show coming up after Thanksgiving break (in December). We welcome art of pretty much all natures except video, audio, paintings, drawings. You couldn't possibly have believed that statement.Take a look at the events calendar
Good ol' EMPAC has done it again: they blatantly ignored our schedule and scheduled their own little show this Friday, November 13th. We have an open mic, they have Dan Deacon...but we won't let them do it! Actually, we already have. The open mic has been rescheduled to the following Friday, November 20. Thus, we can all go watch Dan Deacon. The end is approaching...
There are only a few remaining shows and open mics this semester. This weekend (Saturday specifically) we've got Sgt Dunbar coming to us from Albany. I don't know if you know this...but...they've got a band member who plays the saw. Have you ever seen someone play the saw? It's magical. So spend as much time with us as you can for the rest of the semester. Don't forgot that we only have two open mics left, so if you want to be really popular and get laid and stuff, better impress everyone at one of those two events.
Halloween Open Mic
It's not that crazy. Wrap your mind around it. It's an open mic, it's occurring on Halloween, and rest assured, to arrive without a costume is a huge mistake. You will leave crying and demoralized, especially if you plan on performing some sort of "act". So...great! I hope to see you thur. Go big with your costumes, and remember that Reese's are the only good Halloween candy. The culmination of my entire life
Yes, that would describe this coming weekend. The GZ show on Friday will be the epitome of glory. Listen...if there was ever a moment to be in the GZ basement, if there was ever a moment worth having ears, it would be this Friday at 7pm...at GZ. That is to say that each and every moment, from 7 onward (that's 7), will be superb. Am I saying that you better not miss Scouter, the opener? Yes, you better not miss Scouter, the opener. Also, wow...the other bands. As you can tell, the profundity lacks proper words. It's gonna be like Jimi playin' Woodstock...It's getting cold...
and dark and bitter. The shadows and darkness will soon overcome our morale. But rest assured, GZ doesn't mean Gandalf Zubat for nothing. Gandalf...Zubat. Wizard...bat. I expect it to be wicked zany.
On a completely related note, we've got an open mic this Friday and a show on Saturday, both at 8. I recommended attendance. And yet, at this point, I need to hint at the impending glory looming on the horizon. The horizon is next weekend. Sure, come to the show this weekend. But if you dare not go next weekend, get ready for some Zubat.
